Signature adventure realm
Waystone
Survival
Enter a mysterious monument portal, become stranded among lost floating islands, and awaken an ancient network one monument at a time to find your way home.
A survival story with an ending.
You are not simply starting another world. The portal closes behind you, the center expedition camp becomes your first refuge, and every journey outward pushes deeper into a realm lost to time.
Begin at the center monument
Your first steps take place around an overgrown monument, campfires, tents, and the supplies of an expedition searching for a route back to the Overworld.
Earn every shard
Waystone Shards cannot be mined. They come from dungeon loot, custom monsters, bosses, and other designed challenges across the realm.
Choose how to spend them
Deposit shards into ancient terminals to awaken monuments, or invest them in the settlement and claim you are building.
Complete the network
Discover and activate every required monument to reveal the Master Monument. Awaken it to restore travel to the Overworld and complete the journey home.
Monuments are the map.
Colossal stepped structures rise from the floating islands. Their terminals, wells, and red portals form the realm’s travel network and its main progression path.
Ancient terminals
Each monument asks for a personal shard deposit. Once its requirement is met, the deep central well comes alive with a swirling red portal.
Different destinations
A portal may connect to another monument or open a private dungeon, shrine, puzzle room, combat encounter, or boss experience.
Personal discovery
The realm is shared, but monument discovery and activation belong to each player. Friends can help without skipping or unlocking someone else’s journey.
Rising difficulty
Travel farther from the center and the environment becomes more dangerous. Monument requirements, enemies, and challenges rise with distance.
Build a home in the unknown.
Waystone Survival uses its own settlement system rather than the flat rectangular claims found in the Survival realms.
Waystone Beacons
Your beacon anchors one spherical personal claim. It protects a three-dimensional settlement rather than only a flat surface area.
Expandable borders
Load the beacon with Waystone Shards to increase its radius. Expansion competes directly with monument progression, making every shard a meaningful choice.
Trusted collaborators
Invite friends to help build inside the settlement while ownership, protections, and the personal monument journey remain intact.
Claim totems and travel
Settlements support a home destination and one passive totem, with effects such as speed, haste, regeneration, resistance, night vision, or water breathing.
Systems built for this realm.
Waystone Survival is intentionally separate from ordinary survival progression. Its travel, character choices, threats, and private encounters are designed around the monument journey.
Permanent specialization
Choose Pathfinder for movement and travel efficiency, Mason for mining and reach, or Forager for luck and reduced hunger exhaustion.
Empowered enemies
Zombies, skeletons, and endermen grow stronger with distance and may carry shards or rare rewards. Protected monument and claim blocks remain guarded.
Charged travel
Unlocked monuments and your Waystone Home become travel destinations. Movement or damage can interrupt the charge, and long trips cost more shards.
Rift events
World events can pull nearby players into randomized private levels, then return successful adventurers safely to the active rift.
A realm without ordinary dimensions
The authored floating-island world is the adventure. Nether and End travel are disabled, and empty void lies beyond the prepared terrain.
Current Alpha status
Still under active development.
Waystone Survival is the network’s signature long-term project and remains restricted while its monuments, private levels, balance, and complete return-home journey are refined. The guide describes the authoritative realm design and the systems already built for it.
